Much of my recent work unfolds in distinct series, each exploring a different aspect of place, presence, and personal history.
Atmosphere & Memory
A series of European Cities and Villages. I created this after living in Europe for over ten years. I also traveled through multiple countries. So many beautiful places exist and begged to be explored.
The series of Thresholds and Old Doors began to capture my imagination as portals to special places and times. This series has now inspired another larger painting. The new painting includes three doors opened and viewed from inside.
The Animals & Presence series creates images of big cats. It also features other powerful or interesting creatures. These images evoke a sense of wonder and appreciation for beauty from their world.
